• father turned 60 a month ago. still killin' it so hard. best dude ever.

• friends are getting married. friends are having kids. so psyched for them!
• working overtime as much as possible.
• off of work for a month in a few days.
• traveling italy. alone. duh.
• missing my friend danny every single day...
• my job may be difficult at times. yet, the reward i get from knowing that i helped someone physically or even mentally means the world to me. for that, i am grateful.
• miss friends up in albany and wish i could see them more often instead of once a month.

tim barry recently came out with his 3rd solo record. i'm still feeling it out. his past 2 records were pretty amazing so it's hard to top those. we'll see. he's playing brooklyn in early april.

italy in a month.

traveling italy soon. going alone. making main stops in milan, venice, cinque terre, florence, siena, naples, amalfi coast, salerno, and rome. i think i'm more excited than an average person going to europe. i'm 100% italian. mothers side from sicily and fathers side from abruzzo and naples. growing up in a family who loves their culture and lifestyle, it's such a reward going to the place where my roots are at. however the most important thing to me and the main reason why this means so much to me is that i will be there for my grandmothers birthday. my grandmother passed away may 2nd 2008 and all she wanted me to do my entire life was to visit italy and spend time where our family was originally from. i will be there for her birthday. can't ask for anything more xo

my friends just recently opened up a skate shop in albany.

this saturday theyre having a grand opening party for the shop.

5 speed - 82' datsun king cab.

picked up this 1982 datsun pickup truck from california the other day. should get here in a few weeks. i havent had a car in few years now. i use public transportation and mostly my bike when weather permits. kinda psyched about it. my dad and i are splitting it so i won't have it 24/7, which is fine with me bc i really don't NEED a car with where i live anyway. i'll have to give her a name. any suggestions?

-it's my grandfathers b-day today. he's 89. which is really up there in my family. he is the only grandparent i have left. learned so much from that man.

-going to italy for 3 weeks in april. traveling pretty much all of italy from north to south with my good friend jerrrr. this is something ive been needing in my life for awhile. see where my family was from first hand.

-my good friends up in albany are making big moves. march 5th is the opening of seasons skate shop. there's one thing they know how to do and they do best. and that's killin' it. so psyched for them.

-my long time friends vinny & kathryn are getting married in a few weeks. i've been waiting for this moment for years. there's only a few times you see a couple and you say "theyre really meant to be". usually when you say that it doesnt work out or it just fades away. i can honestly and truly say that vinny and kathryn are meant to be and they are so perfect for eachother. they balance eachother out the perfect amount and i couldnt be more happy for them.

-my fathers b-day is coming up in early march. he'll be 60. my father has experienced and lived a long 60 years. i look up to that man with everything i got. he's pure inspiration and i try so hard to be just half the man he is. they don't make em like him no more. i'm just lucky to have a person in my life like him and i'm even more lucky that he's my father.

-pissed about my tax return. last year i got well over $3,000. this year i'm getting around $900 and i have to pay the state like $30. it's mind blowing how much money they take from my paycheck every few weeks and how little they return to me at the end of the year. i was planning on getting a motorcycle with a sidecar from the 1930's. shit is so legit. but that's not happening now. one day.

Ohhh Heyyy

So i havent been interwebbin' lately. I feel like the "internet" use to be cooler like 5 years ago when friendster was peaking hard. Oh well, I figured i'd post an update. So the Deertick show is next week and i'll be coming up to Albany for a couple days. Riding up via the chinatown bus with Jerrr and Danny. Pretty psyched on seeing everyone in Albany. Other news would be that Matt Blodgett and myself collaberated on a nice little something. We just got confirmation that J.Tillman from the Fleet Foxes is going to use one of our videos we made for one of his songs. I'm just finishing the editing so i'll post the final copy when i'm done with it.
